Hallo Homecinema-friends
I am planning to buy the Onkyo TX-NR905, I downloaded the manual, and only one thing bothered me, I am now using a yamaha av-receiver, where I use the front-pre-out jacks, to drive my frontspeakers, they are homebuild 4way active speakers, the rest is amped through the yamaha, in the Onkyo-manual it is stated that all the pre-outs should be connected to external amps, when the Onkyo is used as pre-amp, does this mean I cannot use only the front pre-out jacks when I want all the other speakers amped through the onkyo?
I hope someone can answer me, because I rather like the specs of the onkyo, and beside a compatabilityproblem with sony playstation 3, I have seen only good things being written about it.
Thanks for any answers....
Tom.
